My name is Brandi and I’m the visionary behind My Life Help Desk! Since I was a young girl in school I’ve always been touched with the Gift of Gab. I was that kid in school who always got in trouble for talking too much! I took that gift and I went to college got a degree in communication and went on to attain my Master’s in psychology!


I’ve spent the last 9 years working with a renowned psychologist helping to diagnose mental health conditions where I would conduct mental status interviews, clinical interviews, social histories, and spend countless hours talking and getting to know clients. I was often reminded to maintain boundaries. I’ll be honest with you that was my one weakness! I love people and I love the art of a good conversation.


I think with the birth of AI and the prevalence of social media oftentimes we yearn for just some human conversation and so here we are My Life Help Desk So if you just want to chit chat or if you need to talk to a person with the education and skills to truly help we have you covered! For 9 years, she worked directly with a renowned psychologist, where her role involved conducting the detailed interviews and social histories that inform mental health diagnoses. That work required learning how to create safe space for difficult conversations, how to listen for what's not being said, and how to synthesize what someone shares into coherent understanding. Those aren't skills you pick up quickly—they develop through hundreds of hours of actual conversation with people navigating complex situations.
